It takes more than food and shelter to escape homelessness.

How can you get a living-wage job without the right skills? Who's going to offer a lease agreement to someone with no recent work or rental history? Where can you get good clothing to wear to an interview? How can you get moved into an apartment if you're disabled or terminally ill? How can you have a voice when no one will listen to you?

Solutions at Work offers transitional services — services that help homeless people get back on their feet. We ask our clients, "What do you need to get your life back?" Then we work to give them everything they need.

Why do we do this? Because investing in transitional solutions is the most effective way to get people out of homelessness. We help them find their way to happy, productive, self-determined lives — for the rest of their lives.
