By day, theologian and noted author Harvey Cox is a Professor at Harvard Divinity School. But by night (or late afternoon in the case of weddings!) Cox plays a mean tenor sax with his band, Harvey Cox & The Embraceables.

Founded in 1973 to play at a New Year's Eve party for a Cambridge housing coop, the Embraceables boasts a range of prominent members.

The Embraceables asks at most a minimal charge for community or hospital events, or for non-profits' fundraisers, but does charge for private parties to help defray expenses.

Bus: 71 From Harvard Square. From the end of the line in Watertown Square cross the river on Galen Street. Go right at the light onto Watertown St. Hibernian Hall is .3 miles down on your right.

Mt Auburn Street (Rt 16) or Route 20 west to Watertown square. Bear left on to Galen St. Go right at the light onto Watertown St. Hall is .3 miles down on your right

Soldier's Field Road west. Go about 3.5 miles. (name changes to Nonantum Road). Cross Galen St. and continue straight onto Watertown Street. Hibernian Hall is .3 miles down on your right.

I 95 to exit 21A to Route 16 towards West Newton. Go 2.3 miles. Turn left onto Watertown St. (CVS on corner). Go 2 miles. Immediately after Stop and Shop turn left into HIbernian Hall parking lot.

I 90 to Exit 17 to Centre St. towards Watertown. (Note: If you come from the east stay to the right of the fork as you go over the bridge.) After 1/2 mile you'll see a Direct Tire on your right. Go left onto Morse St. and follow it to the end. Hibernian Hall is directly in front of you at end of street.
